Catholic school names new English Centre after Irish Jesuit

Ratcliffe College in Leicestershire has named their new English Centre in honour of Irish Jesuit, Willie Doyle.

William Joseph Gabriel Doyle was born in Dalkey, Ireland, and was educated at Ratcliffe College. He was ordained a Jesuit priest in 1907 and served on the Jesuit mission team, travelling around Ireland and Britain preaching parish missions and giving spiritual retreats. He was killed during the Third Battle of Ypres while serving as a chaplain in the British Army.
